Flappy Mario is a 2D endless runner-style game where you control Racoon Mario as he navigates through a treacherous underground tunnel system. As he flails his arms and face to maintain speed, pipes and bricks zoom by at an alarming rate. The goal, much like its namesake, is to guide Racoon Mario through this treacherous terrain without crashing into the obstacles that emerge from the walls and ceiling. Unlike the original, however, the tunnel system is filled with Warp Pipes, which can either help or hinder Mario's progress as he flies through the underground world, with some pipes transporting him to new areas, while others cause him to lose speed or even time his movements to avoid instant death. The game's soundtrack and visual style are reminiscent of the classic Mario games, with a focus on bright colors and cartoonish graphics. As you progress through the levels, the tunnels become increasingly treacherous, with the background shifting from a simple dirt tunnel to a complex network of pipes, and the obstacles becoming more and more difficult to avoid.
